Born and raised in the small town of Mocksville, North Carolina, Heather Foster's music is the soundtrack of a life steeped in both struggle and triumph. Under the stage name Carolina Clay, Foster has woven a rich tapestry of sound that blends the raw storytelling of country, the heartache of Americana, and the soul of Southern rock. Her songs are as gritty and real as the land that raised her—honest, poetic, and steeped in the kind of life lived just beneath the surface, in the places where real people find meaning and escape. Her performance features plenty of these original works as well as many popular covers ranging from country, rock, the classics and today's hits.
