Whether you're here for a focused tasting with friends or sharing a bottle by the vines, we invite you to pack a picnic and make the space your own. We are a dedicated all-ages and pet-friendly venue, featuring lawn games and expansive grounds perfect for unwinding together.
Wine is better with a soundtrack. Beyond our signature Music in the Vineyard series (February–November), we host a curated calendar of seasonal and exclusive events throughout the year.
Tasting Room Policies
Outside Food & Beverages
Feel free to bring your own picnic and snacks when food trucks/vendors are not scheduled or if you have food allergies and require your own prepared food. We have water available as well as sodas and capri-suns for purchase. Please note, no outside alcoholic beverages are permitted per NC ABC laws.
Pets
Well-behaved, leashed pets are always welcome in our tasting room and on the grounds. We kindly ask that you pick up after your pet to ensure a pleasant visit for everyone.
Lawn Chairs
In case our covered tasting room or outdoor seating areas fill up, you're welcome to bring your own lawn chairs to ensure you have a comfy spot to relax and enjoy the vineyard views. Please, no canopies or easy-ups.
Group Visits/Tour Bus Services Policy
To create the best experience for our guests, all tour buses, limos, and any other third party means of transportation with parties of six or more must make advance reservations of at least two days prior to visit to our tasting room during normal business hours. We can not accommodate a large party without a reservation. Reservations are required and can be made using the form below.
Smoke-Free Environment
For the comfort of all guests, Junius Lindsay is a tobacco, smoke, and vapor-free environment, both indoors and outdoors.
Children
Our vineyard is a family-friendly space, and we welcome children of all ages. For the enjoyment of all guests, we kindly ask that parents keep a close eye on their little ones during their visit. Games and coloring books are available for all to use.
What to Expect in Our Open-Air Tasting Room
As North Carolina's only open-air tasting room, we offer breathtaking views of the vineyard and countryside, with refreshing breezes in the spring and summer. While we don’t have air conditioning, several ceiling fans help keep things comfortable during warmer months.
In the fall, we begin to enclose the tasting room with vinyl curtains as the weather cools, and we add heating to keep things cozy. For winter visits, we recommend dressing warmly or bringing a blanket if particularly chilly weather is expected.
