​Our open air tasting room is the perfect place for sampling our nationally acclaimed wines or enjoying a bottle with friends. We offer wine flights/tastings, wine by the glass, or full bottle service. Bring a picnic and enjoy the wine and beauty of the vineyard!

Wine Tastings
For wine tastings, we ask that you arrive by 4:00 pm to enjoy the experience fully as our tastings typically last 35-45 minutes. Our current wine tasting details are as follows:

Private Events & Rentals
Our beautiful tasting room is available for private events throughout the year. Whether it’s an intimate wedding, small reception, office party, or a simple picnic with friends, we are happy to assist you in planning your function.

Tasting Room Guidelines
Outside Food/Beverages
We allow outside food and picnics. No alcoholic beverages except Junius Lindsay wines may be consumed on vineyard premises.

Pets
Well behaved, leashed pets are always welcome at our tasting room and grounds. We also have complementary dog treats for your K9 companion. Please remember to always pick up after your pet... everyone appreciates that!

Lawn Chairs
Should our covering tasting room area as well as our outdoor tables and chairs fill up, lawn chairs are always welcome.

Groups
For groups of six or more, reservations are required via email or phone (336) 764-4050. For convenience, we ask that all members of the group have the same wine tasting and that one person pays for all tastings.
Smoke Free
Junius Lindsay is a tobacco, smoke and vapor free environment, indoors and out.

Children
Our vineyard is a family friendly environment and we welcome children of all ages. We ask that parents monitor their children at all times for an enjoyable experience for all guests.

What to Expect in an Open Air Tasting Room
We boast North Carolina’s only open air tasting room, which offers breathtaking views of the vineyard & surrounding countryside. Warm breezes blow very nicely through the tasting room during the spring & summer. While the tasting room is not air-conditioned, we do have several ceiling fans that are used in the warmer months.
In the fall when the weather begins to turn cold, we gradually transition our tasting room to be fully enclosed by vinyl curtains and begin to heat the space for comfort. When visiting in the winter, we recommend guests dress warmly, or bring a blanket if the weather is forecasted to be particularly cold.
Tour Bus/Transportation Services Policy
To create the best experience for our guests, all tour buses, limos, and any other third party means of transportation with parties of six or more must make advance reservations of at least two days prior to visit. We can not accommodate a large party without a reservation. Reservations are required and can be made via email or by calling the tasting room at (336) 764-4050.
